I protest the $15 dollar monthly raise on the monthly electric bill. It is very hard to pay their monthly electric and water bills when you are in your eighty's and on a fixed income. The electric bill is high enough and the water bill is double to what it used to be since Liberty took over. |

Our monthly average billing is $114.00. If our monthly payment increases by as much as $15.00 that would be one fifth of our monthly house payment. With the cost of living, gas for vehicles and propane going up, not to mention health care, we barely have enough to make ends meet. We are living on Social Security only. Please take this into consideration as you look at how this raise will impact more of the seniors living on meager incomes. |

Please do not allow Liberty to implement the huge rate hike that it wants. Although $15/month isn’t much for some people, it is for rural communities and for seniors. Liberty is already wanting to expand their easements here in Forsyth and not compensate land owners fairly. The rate hike is a flat increase meaning that the user has to pay it no matters how much they cut back on usage. Please do not allow this. |

I am writing on behalf of my husband and myself; to ask that this purposed increase be DENIED. The electric bills we receive from Liberty Utilities are already outrageous. Our electric bills cost MORE than neighboring towns who pay for multiple utilities in one bill. A friend from the State of Washington was in shock when seeing our electric bill. She agrees it is asinine and even questioned how people are affording to live with the bills. We even decided for the future, we will not be living under Liberty’s control if we ever have the opportunity to move again. Please consider the families, elders, and the already struggling adults when making this decision. NO ONE wants this increase. PLEASE! |

Case No. ER-2026-0260 & EO-2026-0261 Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) should find out what the costs associated with power generation are. If liberty missed its energy recover financial goals because it predicted more energy sales than what occurred, then did it not generate that energy thus reducing fuel costs or did it not sell that energy somewhere else? If we the people used less then fuel consumption would be lower, maintenance should be lower. Why is the recovery based on kwh used/sold. Should it not be the consumer's % of usage against the total? So if old lady A uses 1% of the total power consumed then she is only responsable for 1% of the recovery cost? |
