Does this commission EVER say No to these utilities, especially Ameren, who is gobbling up smaller providers, and who collected nearly $1.5 billion, a portion to raze the Rush Island facility, and yet on my Ameren statement I am paying an ADDITIONAL fee to "retire" the Rush Island plant. "Coming Soon" to a mailbox near you, approved increases from Spire, MSD, Missouri American Water, and on and on. You are supposed to be the consumer watchdog but you have failed miserably. Below is a copy of a letter I sent to Missouri Senators without a response. A response from you would be greatly appreciated. *See attached |
