I oppose socializing data-center costs. Require 100% direct billing to the load that caused it (Oregon POWER Act model). No Missouri ratepayer subsidies for Google, Meta, or Amazon. |

Most businesses (79%) that use A.I. expect the company that provides the AI is powered sustainably. This means by renewables. Sustainability is tied to Core Business Strategy. 79% of US firms demand verified sustainability credentials from external tech vendors. Networks, cloud systems and AI platforms identified as the top three areas for IT decarbonization. Hyperscalers like Meta, Google, etc. know this. If you need to approve an AI data center, you need to make sure it is powered by renewables/batteries. |

As a ratepayer and city council member in Richmond, MO, I am urging you to do everything in your power to protect families from the costly impact of unchecked data centers. I am deeply concerned about the financial burden this could cause our residents. Please be sure that the data center developers are putting up the money needed for the extra energy required to power their facility. I am counting on you to protect the ratepayers from shouldering these costs Thank you for your attention to this matter. It is essential that you protect the families in Missouri and keep everyone financially strong as best you can. June Paige |

We need to put a moratorium in place to help keep the Public safe from these huge data centers that consume huge amounts of electricity. I know the Senate bill 4 that protects other consumers of rate hikes but when using a large load tariff with these big tech companies they can get away with using large amounts of electricity without paying for them when they use individual buildings as the consuming product user. Instead of using the whole area of 16 or more buildings as one user. There are a loopholes that these big big giant tech companies can use to not pay their portion of the bill for new infrastructure and substations. *see attached |
